What Does God Do?
The questions I asked last time lead to an even more basic one. We may have knee-jerk reactions to those other questions, but if our thinking is coherent then our answers to those questions should flow from our answer to this more basic question: What does God do?
I don’t mean “What has God done?” I’m not inquiring about divine activity two thousand or more years ago. Christ says, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working” (John 5:17 NIV). What do those words mean right now, right here?
